The Daruma is a traditional Japanese good luck charm that is supposed to help with the fulfillment of wishes. If you make a wish to your Daruma, you paint out one of the two eyes and place it in a place where you will see it as often as possible. As soon as the wish comes true, you paint out the second eye and it's time for a new Daruma. The more Darumas with 2 eyes you have, the happier you are.
